Most of the International Trade within NAFTA region goes through a border; Cross border exports from USA or Canada to Mexico might be difficult if shippers has no experience or do not know how the process works on the Mexican Customs. The first step for a cross border service, is to consign your exports shipments to a Forwarding warehouse in the U.S. side of the border, «Lopezadri Forwarding LLC» located in Laredo, Tx, is capable to receive LTL, TL even Rail road cars.  On a regular basis exporters consign shipments to this facility, where we receive and work on the previo and prepare shipments to get them ready for customs clearance; the main advantage for exporters, on this cross border service, is that they handle their shipping as domestic freight, since the consign to a USA base company, another advantage is that we’re able to advise or alert to Mexican importers for any special import requirement or permit without having the shipment on detention by any Customs Authority;

Following with the cross border service, the next step will be the coordination with our Mexican Customs Broker office «Grupo Aduanal Lopezadri S.C.», professional traffic staff, prepares all customs documentation, such as Shipper Export Declaration to comply with US Customs procedures and Pedimento, the official Mexico customs entry form, to comply with the Dispatch;

When everything is ready a local transportation, with proper DOT and Customs authorization,  goes to our warehouse and pick up the shipment with proper customs documentation, in order to do the «bridge crossing» international transfer service. After the customs clearance this local transportation delivers to the Mexican carrier selected by importer to get the cargo shipped to final destination;

Nafta Agreement allows carriers to bring shipments across the border with an assistance of a Customs Brokers, so now a day a Transportation companies can pick up a load in United States and deliver in to Mexico, or viceversa, even though this is a possibility only few carriers have accomplish the requirements to offer this cross-border services; So the most common way on a cross border service to Mexico is having a domestic American carrier delivering at the forwarding warehouse in the US side of the border, an have the forwarder coordinate the delivery to a the Mexican carrier after customs clearance;
